Sound Effigies are hand-crafted from the seasonal prunings of our forest garden, transforming branches- sticks and stalks into temporary instruments for listening, improvising, becoming and more. Activated through touch, movement and sound, they function as magical devices that invite playful encounters between bodies, plants and place. Each effigy is embodiment of the memory of the tree and the multispecies communities from which it grew. The effigies are devices to open a space for new relationships to emerge through vibration, rhythm and collective imagination. They are propositions for assembling into a Vegetal Being—rehearsing forms of attention that are slower, more porous and rooted in reciprocity. Wild-crafted with the multispecies wonder of the forest garden, the Sound Effigies invoke the speculative commons of the planetary F.O.L.K. (Flow Organic Love & Kinship), where human and more-than-human voices gather in an ongoing conviviality of forest garden effervescence, cultivating future worlds through shared acts of play, care and resonance.
