Somatic Practice and Reciprocal Respiration

Embodied expertise formalised as essential components of ART; Land Practice and the Voynich Method, tailored to the specific nature and sensitive nervous system of our species of the land.

‘Our bodies formed themselves in delicate reciprocity with the manifold textures, sounds and shapes of an animate earth-our eyes have evolved in subtle interaction with other eyes, as our ears are attuned by their very structures. To cut the connections is to rob our senses of their integrity, and to rob our minds of their coherence.‘( David Abram)

This long-term, sustained personal and collective practice is aimed at cultivating mindfulness, vitality, care, and awareness of the fertile space within the mind, body, heart and the multispecies wonder with ineffable subtleties- the world saturated with mindfulness. Rooted in corporeal exercises and various modalities involving physical, mental, imaginative, and respiratory engagement, this practice serves as a supportive tool for the multifaceted unfolding of ART of Multispecies Visionary Institute.

Drawing from expertise in techniques, and broad array of practices like yoga, breathwork (Buteyko method), Earth Forum,  Forest Schooling, and ecstatic improvised dance, I explore a bespoke embodied practice as technologies of the self and anthropotechnics that integrate various methods born from regular experiences, responsive to both context and individuals.
